06.05.2020 Debrief Recap
- How should we respond when they do not want to provide us information
- Some people will not want to talk or cooperate. We cannot help this and should mark these as refused.
- Age Issues - Some scripts are for the incorrect age
- Our system defaults to adult, but core questions are the same. We can continue after verifying the parents/guardians information
- Spreading the word
- Governor Whitmer talked about our efforts and encouraged people to answer the phone.
- DHHS is working on more communication with people from MI
- Volunteers can help by talking about our efforts on social media
- Smaller points
- Seems like more people are answering the phone overall
- Memorial Day may have brought in more contacts
- New Changes to Volunteer/Supervisor pairing
- Started pairing volunteers to supervisors in 1:1 or 1:2 groupings
- Less filtering through answers that do not relate to your questions
- We need to make sure the supervisors are responding ASAP to questions asked.
- Micontacttracingvolunteers.com
- New website to sign up for shifts
- Check it daily to see if new openings happen for days you would like to volunteer for.
- If you sign up for a shift and can no longer work it, make sure you cancel the spot so someone else can join.
- Looking forward to all the opportunities this site will bring!
