06.05.2020 Debrief Recap

  • How should we respond when they do not want to provide us information
    • Some people will not want to talk or cooperate.  We cannot help this and should mark these as refused.
  • Age Issues - Some scripts are for the incorrect age
    • Our system defaults to adult, but core questions are the same.  We can continue after verifying the parents/guardians information
  • Spreading the word
    • Governor Whitmer talked about our efforts and encouraged people to answer the phone.
    • DHHS is working on more communication with people from MI
    • Volunteers can help by talking about our efforts on social media
  • Smaller points
    • Seems like more people are answering the phone overall
    • Memorial Day may have brought in more contacts
  • New Changes to Volunteer/Supervisor pairing
    • Started pairing volunteers to supervisors in 1:1 or 1:2 groupings
    • Less filtering through answers that do not relate to your questions
    • We need to make sure the supervisors are responding ASAP to questions asked.
  • Micontacttracingvolunteers.com
    • New website to sign up for shifts
    • Check it daily to see if new openings happen for days you would like to volunteer for.
    • If you sign up for a shift and can no longer work it, make sure you cancel the spot so someone else can join.
    • Looking forward to all the opportunities this site will bring!
  • Debrief run and noted by Ryan Kranz
