- Camp in St. Joe situation-most contacts not showing as minors
- Katie is following up with the county to remind them of the importance making sure we document the age correctly so it will properly que
- Volunteers are loving the 1:1 attention from supervisors-Thank you!
- Right now we are monitoring about 40% of the state
- Are we in need of more volunteers? We had about 10,400 volunteers initially sign up, we are still working through that initial list, so as of right now we are not looking for additional volunteers. We have about 500 volunteers that are active in the system right now, that have gone through training and are able to sign up for shifts.
- We will be updating the FAQ on what to do in cases of house holding and the question "Do you want to answer on behalf of all in your family" if we leave a message we must mark "No" for that question. It will not let you pass to the next contact without answering the question. DO NOT mark "yes" we don't want to assume that someone will be answering for the whole family right off the bat without talking to them. We will ask the question again on the next call.
- If we call someone who is not a resident of MI but they are appearing as a contact (they were here on vacation, visiting family or at a second/vacation home) and they have returned to their home state. Please ask the city, state and county in which they reside so we can pass that along to the appropriate state health department. Once you've obtained that information, close out the contact "case closed/other" and pass along the information you have to your shift supervisor. They will pass it along to the state.
- We will also be looking into revising FAQs and knowledge article K1067 to make it more clear as to what a re-que really means.
- If you get a contact that has been re-qued after 3 hours, and it was NOT a successful call, that is ok! That is how the system works. If you get a contact that is re-qued in a shorter amount of time, please let your supervisor know so they can pass that information along.
