Working the chatter:

-make sure to tag the supervisor using @ plus their name

-bell icon on the top right can get you there quickly

Volunteers wanting to see copy of work letter, texts etc.

-knowledge base, type Text, Email, Work exemption letter and there should be copies you can see

-should be copies in galaxy digital as well

Sending resources:

-every time you put in an email address and hit save it will send our resources

-if you change the email address and the exemption letter is checked it will send a new one

Opted for text, not receiving it:

-Each person in the HH must be enrolled separately.

-If it is a HH they must answer each survey for every individual

-Check to see if they opted out in the bottom of the info box it will say "opt out by amazon" if that is checked they replied stop to the

text.

-some phone carriers do not allow it, let your supervisor know and we can check this.

Receiving incoming calls too quickly:

-Put yourself into offline once done with a call until you have completed the notes/assessment whatever else you may need to do for that contact then you can change to available

Email coming up invalid:

-check if there is an unwanted space at the beginning or ending this is most often the issue

-you are always welcome to put it just in the info box instead

CIW:

                -they have separate instructions.

-if they are marked as CIW originally but then it is changed, we want to follow the newest instruction, the local health department decides that.

Answer for all HH members question:

-yes, you want to mark this yes even if you did not speak to the person

-this was part of the logic to attempt to keep the household together regardless what you mark as outcome

-we have an update coming up that should help with keeping HH together

HH Pro tip:

-make a note before calling the contact that goes to the whole HH

-this will prevent other volunteers from calling at the same time

-mark no answer if you receive one of those members

Parents upset about only keeping one child in quarantine:

-afraid that if they decide to keep the other kids home as precaution that they can end up with unexcused absences

-recommend speaking to the LHD if the parent decides to keep whole family home

-let your supervisor know and we can make the LHD aware and hopefully help them find a way to come to an agreeance with the school

Last day, first contact:

-feedback: script does not really make sense for this circumstance

-this happens because we have so many people in the queue to call, feel free to adlib and change/omit things that may not be relevant if it's the last day

-they are always welcome to give us a call, even if they are not in our queue anymore we can still answer questions

Minor child marked as adult:

-change the age in the info box, it will update for the next call

-scripts are basically the same, you can just make sure to ask for the parent/guardian and get their name if possible and you can mention that quarantining may not be something you can do perfectly with a small child, but to do their best.

Multiple exposures:

-unfortunately, with the world opening up more and more this is going to become more common

Genders:

-woman, man, and other are the options regardless of age

-we also think this is kind of funny

Average 25 assessments:

-this includes any outcome you mark, not just successful ones

-volunteers are averaging around 25-27 assessments per shift, thank you!!

Tested previously how do we mark that?

-if they were tested for a previous exposure but not the current one, mark it as not tested

Contact needs supplies:

-let your supervisor know if you're not able to get in touch with 211 so we can make sure they get what they need

-some LHDs can help with food and supplies sometimes 211 can help

Raffle:

-1 entry for every 3 hours of volunteering

-you could win a $50 amazon gift card!
