We completely cleared the queue today!

9000+ new cases per day, how are we clearing the queue?

  • it takes time for the LHD to do an intake interview to gather contacts
  • LHD took a lot of the contacts where the exposure happened within the household
  • the addition of the 200 paid contact tracer allows us to reach more people per day
  • case investigator has also been letting the household members know about quarantine information up front for their family members so will not be getting those contacts
  • there is also a lack of case investigators so it is taking us longer to input the information about contacts, this is being worked on

Positive cases:

  • they can continue to test positive without being contagious, 10 days no fever + symptoms improving means isolation can end
  • pushing the message that the employer not ask that they test negative before returning
  • if they are asking for a return letter, advise they reach out to LHD, but they shouldn't need it

Changing phone number:

  • make sure to include the new and old phone number in the note in case the new one does not connect us
  • you can change the phone number in the info pane

Discussed/demonstrated chatter feeds, how to find chatter feed from GD, checking amazon phone connection

Multiple texts in one day:

  • if they do not respond to the first text, they will get another text every 2 hours starting at 11am until they respond
  • best to advise that they only need to respond to the most recent text as the previous ones will not work

Suggestion:

  • for those that do not respond to text, if we have to leave a voice message it would be nice if the voice message included that the reason they're receiving a call now is that they did not respond to the text

Statistically, do we have a way to track what percentage of contacts end up testing positive?

  • yes it is possible, but because there are a lot of different variables it would not give a truly accurate representation
