Vaccine: How to talk to contacts about it?

• This sort of thing would be referred to COVID Hotline, or Michigan.gov/coronavirus subpage that says vaccine -OR- Michigan.gov/covidvaccine (Will be updated as more info becomes available)

Change in CDC guidelines re: quarantine length

• Changes in script are going to take some time due to tech things, TENATIVE live date of Dec 14 or 15.
• Guidance out for adapting script soon.
• Note: 14 days is still OPTIMAL, but CDC has approved communicating 10 day quarantine with no test. Work being done on potential 7 day quarantine with negative test, however that is not yet implemented.
• LHDs may still recommend longer quarantine periods based off of if + case lives in same HH as contact.
• USING CCO FOR ASYMPTOMATIC PEOPLE WHO WE REACH ON OR AFTER LAST DAY OF 10 DAY MONITORING PERIOD.
• Starting immediately, start manually calculating 10 day monitoring period based off of date in traceforce. This is a temporary fix until technical update comes through as previously noted.
• Appeal to 7 day quarantine needs to be reviewed by LHD, however, due to LHD workload, incredibly unlikely to be reviewed quick enough, encourage full 10 day quarantine.

CIW Review

• If exposed, then can still work under certain circumstances.
• If workplace is requesting contact violate those circumstances, report to MIOSHA.

Calling when contacts have opted into texting?
