2/12/21 Debrief Notes!
- Britnee Puttman: Raffle winners are Ann Balarezo and Holli Denson! Congratulations!!!
- New updated Contact tracing Handbook: 2/12 Edition! (Available in Galaxy Digital)
- New Volunteer opportunities coming: MDHHS is considering setting up a new call team to reach out to those registered and on the vaccine waitlist. The calls will be for scheduling these contacts to get their vaccines! Please email Peter (DHHS) at DavidsonP@michigan.gov for more information or if you're interested in being a part of the first wave! This may be rolled out as soon as March!
- CDC Guidelines: Contacts who have completed their vaccine series (meaning that they have received both doses) and are more than 14 days past the last dose in their series, and within less than three months after their second dose no longer needs to quarantine. Those who fall under these criteria can be waived from further tracing. We still want to encourage safety guidelines upon leaving the home such as social distancing, regular hand washing, etc...
Questions!
Q: If we receive an inbound call while pulling a contact to call, do we retrieve that contact or do we let it go so that it may requeue for the next tracer?
A: Let the contact you pulled go back into the queue, as it will populate for the next tracer within an hour. We don't want to manually locate and pull this contact as this may cause a rapid requeue.
Reminders!
- Clicking: MDHHS wants us to click talk to next contact every 5 minutes.
- Chatter: Volunteers can use Galaxy Digital or the Daily Schedule to access the link for chatter. If any volunteers are having issues getting in, they can call the supervisor hotline for further guidance.
- It's okay for volunteers to request a tag after they have found chatter through the links, so they don't lose the chatter.
- Note Taking: Please make sure we are writing the parent/guardians name in the notes.
- Templates: The template is not needed if the outcome is no answer or left message. If the portion of the template is unnecessary then please do not put it in the note.
