Friday 1PM Debrief Notes 9/4/2020

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Positive Outtake:

-Some of our volunteers shared they lately they've been getting a lot of appreciative contacts.

Contact Feeling Down?:

- Make sure to provide them with our resources at the end of the script

-Simply being a listening ear and letting them know they are heard can turn their day around

Conflicting dates: due to new information stating they only need to quarantine 10 days as opposed to 14 this can be frustrating to contacts.

-It is important to quarantine for 14 days because symptoms can show up anywhere between 2-14 days after having contact with someone who tests positive

-MDHHS would like us to keep note of any specific LHD that is telling contacts this information so they can better dig into it.

-10 days is for those who test positive for Covid19

- Positive cases can leave isolation 10 days since the symptoms began plus 24 hours with no fever without fever reducing medication and symptoms have improved

-If you test positive but did not have symptoms then it's just 10 days since the positive test.

Trouble Getting Food:
-211 should definitely be able to help with this, some LHD do have additional support they can supply, some colleges and university are also providing some support

                - If it really feels like their need is not being helped, please escalate to supervisor to we can follow up and make sure they are taken care of

Unemployment information:

                -Ashley is working on this

New symptom:

-Congestion/runny nose will be added in next update

-Will not have to say yes or no to symptoms to see what they are

                - Script will specify these should be symptoms different from what they normally have

-New CDC guidance loss of taste or smell is the primary symptom

Current vs recent symptoms that have cleared up:

-Only mark what they have currently but you can note previous symptoms

Can't Save Next:

- check email entry in script and make sure it does not have an extra space at the end even if it is blank

Minor having adult script:

-Change the age in the information box on the right hand side. It will update for the next caller.

-The only difference between scripts is a minor script asks for the parent/guardian

How to log hours to debrief:

-Email volunteermanagers@rockconnections.com so we can provide you a walk through/screen shot.

Titles are not showing:

-Just use a basic title but make sure the important information in the body of the notes.

-Next update will not ask you for a title anymore Thursday night (Friday morning)

Suggestion: default check for household notes?

  • Mdhhs will look into this
