Pro tip: we are all human, let them air out their frustrations/ concerns, reassure them and help them feel heard. This usually helps turn the conversation around and end on a good note.
Start/end monitoring date different from what contact believes:
-if they believe their start/end date is different, escalate to supervisor and we will have the local health department double check and verify the dates or if they need to update it.
Contact reports a positive test but does not specify which kind of test:
-mark that positive test and the LHD will look into it further
HH contact says the LHD told them not to quarantine:
-follow the script, you can ask to take another test but ultimately they should follow their pcps instructions.
-if they are really adamant, go ahead and escalate to shift supervisor and they will dig deeper with the LHD
Parent of contact states they are having symptoms:
-let your shift supervisor know and we will make sure the lhd is aware
