Feedback on new Chatter set up

  • When sups respond to a question, repeat the question in your answer so folks can easily see Q&A's in Chatter
  • Sups should "like" a question so Vols know they saw they're question

We did our Amazon Card Raffle for our Volunteers

  • Congratulations to

Highlights- Glows and Pro's

  • We love the new updates in version!!
  • We got a really nice "Thank You" from a contact
  • Shout out to Karen Jennings for her high level of awareness on a situation that needed to be escalated.

We're encouraging folks to take a minute in b/w calls after hitting "Talk to next contact" Read through notes or something to give time for the text to go through to the mobile person we are about to call for the initial contact.

If a person is an employee: are they considered institutional setting and do we go into further investigation on School?

  • We are not selecting IS for them as of right now, so that way they can receive texts
  • You can take those additional notes to find out the school info

School Related Activities

  • Sports
  • Arts
  • Academic

Anything where they are in contact with others

Activities that may not be specific school related, tied to the school (Ie. Church, rec center ect. Put in the notes)

Leave a note before you call a HH, in case the HH breaks up, other vols know you are calling

New Update Feedback: The option of leaving your name adds some confusion for when they call back looking for that person

Is it worth taking the extra time, to add into extra notes and description regaruding the contacts health?

  • YES!!! Notes are SUPER helpful, complete the scripts and gather as much info as possible to make that info for the LHD.

As a health care provider/ volunteer any advice for not stepping out of our relm of expertise or experience when giving guidance to contacts

  • We know and understand how hard it is to refrain from giving professional medical advice, but we encourage folks to not to give definate advice on behalf of your profession, but you can offer suggestions and reccomendations, but we want to try to stick within our relm as volunteers with the HD.

Is Quarantine an option or requirement?

  • Quarantine is absolutely required, it is important that we are stressing and communicating that urgency as contact tracers.
  • If someone is pushing back, escelate that to Sups/ MDHHS/ LHD

Diffuculty with phone call connection

  • Try checking your advanced sound settings to make sure the mic/ input is directed properly
  • Try checking your internet connection as well

There is a virtual NDA that we need folks to go through and sign on GD- please check that out https://www.micontacttracingvolunteers.com/need/
