3.22.21 Monday Volunteer Debrief
Notes:
Dawn says she has had a lot of people reach out to her regarding their microphone or headsets not working. Either they cant hear or the contact cant hear them. This could be an issue due to a Chrome update. But she is telling them to allow pop up blockers in the internet settings. Also, check mic and speaker settings on their PC. She will send out more information tomorrow to supervisors with screenshots. So far her advise has been working.
Lori's questions 1. it appears that the challenge of letting go some of the paid tracers has placed a lot of work on the shoulders of the supervisors. It is much harder to get feedback from supervisors as we are working. We often don't know who is actually in the chatter, and often they take their lunch in the 1-4 shift . Answer: Caity says we are aware of the confusion. We are working on a solution. Starting tomorrow the volunteer chatter will have 2 supervisors available to assist the volunteers. One will go to lunch at 2:00 and the other will go at 3:00
Lori's question 2. There are a significant problem with people signing up for text, and only being manual. Answer: I explained that sometimes when they can not be opted in texting it is because they have opted out of texts. They can be enrolled if they provide a different phone number.
Lori's question 3. The new changes to document "I am calling Susie at 3pm" ..There is almost NO ONE doing this...not even supervisors. The supervisors , as tagged in the chatter : we can see their groups too. Some of those chatters do not even have the new guidelines posted.Answer: New guidelines should be posted in the chats each day. Slso, everyone should be putting the names of the contact that appeared on screen and adding the time to notes. Even Supervisors. This will be addressed.
Lori question 4. The vaccine question is still potentially causing problems , hiding the texting or school questionsAnswer: If someone is vaccinated we don't need to go any further is the answer is yes. No need to ask them more questions. We should treat the vaccine question as a mandatory question. Basically at this time anyone under 50 the answer should be no.
Lori also says thank you to Jeremey Antilla who tags us every day.
