Q: Are we telling the contacts that we are extending the 10-day quarantine to 14-day?
A: LHD will be given the option to do 10-Days or 14-Day quarantines. This choice will have to be made quickly; we then have a default set for the LHD for contacts added in trace force. This process will be quick. At some point next week, we will start to see contacts having 10 or 14-day quarantines, depending on the county.
Q: Will the state or the local health departments be informing the choice of that county makes on 10-day or 14-day trickle down to the school admins / school nurses?
A: It is a local level activity. Local health Department will be communicating with the County administrations to make sure that their schools, their school district, or multiple districts know the new quarantine amounts.
Q: I tried to connect somebody to 211 yesterday and of course they were experiencing high volume calls and so they were telling people you know that you could stay on the line.
A: 211 is a referral service doesn't directly help the contact. They act as a matchmaker between services and the contact. They would have to wait in the queue, unfortunately.
Q: If someone goes to school or work in one county and lives other, but the county listed is not where they live, what do we change it to?
A: we want to change it county that the contact lives in and or will be quarantining in.
Q: Do rapid testes count as normal test in the script? Would they need to continue quarantine?
A: You would still treat it like a test and mark the answer on the script accordingly. The blanket response for quarantining is that we will want them to continue quarantining if they test negative or not.
